Acer has revealed a trio of Acer Chromebook in different sizes and forms, designed for students, hybrid workers, family, and home use. These laptops feature the most recent MediaTek Kompanio Intel processors and an eco-friendly OceanGlass Touchpad.
Acer Chromebook Spin 513 specs, Pricing, and Availability
The Spin 513’s convertible design, powered by the new Octa-core MediaTek Kompanio1380 chipset, is perfect for school, work, or other projects. The Chromebook can switch between four modes for easy use on the move, including tablet and tent mode. It comes standard with Wi-Fi 6 and has a military-grade MIL-STD 810H durability.
It features a 13.5-inch display and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The display resolution is 2256×1504, and the side bezels are narrow at 7.7mm (0.3 inches), which highlights the visuals. It also features a backlit keyboard, a USB Type C port, and DTS Audio with two upward-facing speakers. It provides high-quality audio for entertainment or video calls.
Acer Chromebook Spin 513 will become available in North America starting June 2022 for $599.99 (around Rs 45,000). Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Africa can purchase it as early as April 2022, at EUR649 (about Rs 55,000. span>
Acer Chromebook 315 specs, Pricing, Availability
Acer Chromebook 315 has a 15.6-inch antiglare display that eliminates reflections. The touch-screen display option allows for smooth multitasking, and the large keyboard has a numeric pad. It also features a wide FOV (field of view) webcam with flare-reducing technology. It makes it ideal for online lectures and video conferences.
DTS Audio is included in Spin 513. It delivers deeper bass and Wi-Fi 6 support. The most recent Intel processors power it. There are two USB Gen 2 Type C ports on each side for data transfers. You get up to 10 hours of battery life and a MicroSD card reader.
Acer’s eco-friendly touchpad is also available on the Acer Chromebook. OceanGlass is made from ocean-bound plastic waste and repurposed into a glass-like texture that provides tactile feedback.
Acer Chromebooks 315 will soon be available in North America at $299.99 (about Rs 23,000.) Europe, the Middle East, and European regions will access the Acer Chromebook 315 in the second half of the first quarter of 2022 for EUR399 (roughly Rs 34,000 span>).
Acer Chromebook 314 specs, Pricing, Availability
The Acer Chromebook 314, the most affordable variant of the pack, is ideal for families with children aged between 6 and 12 years. The Chromebook 314 is equipped with the most recent Intel processors. It also has a 10-hour battery life and comes in a military-grade case.
Full-HD (1920 x1080) IPS touch screen display measures 14 inches diagonally. It has 8.1mm (0.32 in) narrow bezels and an antiglare coating. The optional multi-touch display and OceanGlass touchpad allow users to navigate Chrome OS.
The Chromebook 314 also offers
