Asus has announced the launch of the Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED detachable laptop. It comes with an unattachable keyboard and a 13.3-inch OLED touchscreen display. Asus Vivobook 13 Slate features two cameras and comes with up to 8GB of RAM, and runs Windows 11. Here’s everything you need to be aware of about the laptop.

The Asus Vivobook 13 Slate Laptop will be available at $599 (approx 44,500). The company has also stated that two exclusive Artist Editions will be available in the coming months along with the regular model.

Asus Vivobook 13 Slate comes with the 13.3-inch FHD+ touchscreen display equipped with OLED Dolby Vision. The display has an aspect ratio of 16:9 and has 555 nits of peak brightness and 100 percent DCI-P3 color spectrum coverage 0.2ms responsive time as well as TUV Rheinland eye certification.

This laptop powers an Intel Pentium Silver processor. It is equipped with Intel UHD graphics and up to 8GB of RAM. The Asus laptop has up to the capacity of 256GB internal storage. It runs Windows 11 Home.

It comes with a detachable full-size keyboard and a cover stand that features an angle of 170-degrees. The laptop is also equipped with the ASUS Pen 2.0 stylus. It is housed in a magnetic pen holder that users are in a position to draw and note notes on the laptop using the same.

The detachable device will be equipped with a front camera of 5MP and a 13MP camera on the rear that can be used for videos and taking pictures. Asus has announced it will come fitted with AI Noise-Canceling to improve the audio call experience.

The laptop comes with an energy-efficient battery of 50Wh paired with a charger for USB Type C. The Asus Vivobook 13 laptop is believed to charge up to 60 percent in 39 minutes. The laptop’s ports include two USB Type C ports and one 3.5mm audio connection, as well as a MicroSD reader.
