Since the Ola Electric Scooter made its debut, it has been several months. On August 15, it finally revealed India’s 75th Independence Day, the much-anticipated electric two-wheeler in two versions – S1 and S1 Pro.
Both versions of the Ola S1 electric scooter are now available for purchase starting Wednesday, September 8, just before World EV Day.
To great enthusiasm, Ola’s first Electric Scooter has been available for bookings since July. Within 24 hours, the e-scooter received 1 lakh reservations. However, the company has not revealed how many units have registered to date.

Once the buyer confirms the purchase, they will be informed about their status on the waiting list and the number of available buyers. Ola will deliver the scooter directly to the buyer, and deliveries are expected to start in August.

Ola Electric has partnered with many banks and financial institutions to offer easy loans to its customers. These lenders include Axis Bank and HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank, IDFC First Bank, and ICICI Bank.

Ola Electric not only delivers but also brings servicing and repairs to the scooter’s owner. An AI system built into the scooter will notify the owner when it needs service or repairs. They can also book the service via an app. The technician will be sent to complete the task.

The scooter is available in 10 colors with an 8.5 KW motor and 3.97 kWh batteries. These were developed in-house. Ola plans to set up a Futurefactory Tamil Nadu. It will be the largest scooter-making facility in the world, with 500 acres of land.
