HP has announced a new HP Omen 16 gaming laptop on Tuesday, which is available in India. This laptop HP Omen 16 succeeds the Omen series launched in India thanks to its robust Nvidia RTX 30 series GPU and Intel’s 11th generation processor. Let’s take a look at the price and specs.

HP Omen 16 Gaming laptop Specifications

Its HP Omen 16 has two models, one of which has a 16.1-inch display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a second version with the same display with a higher refresh rate. The screen has 300nits brightness and features an sRGB 100% color gamut. The higher-end(165Hz) variant comes with an average response time of 3ms, and the lower-end(144Hz) version comes with a 7ms response.

The under the hood, underneath, the higher-end(165Hz) runs on the Intel Core i7-11800H CPU, paired with 8GB of the Nvidia GeForce 3070 GPU. Its lower-end(144Hz) comes with the processor Intel Core-i7-11800H, paired with 6GB Nvidia GeForce the RTX3060 GPU. Laptops can have the capacity of up to 16GB DDR4 RAM that is running at 3200MHz. The laptops have 1TB of HDD storage PCIe Gen4x4 which is twice more efficient than traditional SATA SSDs.

Omen 16 comes with a battery of 83Whr that can last approximately 9 hours. It comes with a 300W AC power adapter that provides quick charging speeds. It’s an ideal gaming laptop. It is equipped with an RGB keyboard with four zones of anti-ghosting keys. Keys support Omen Gaming Hub Light Studio integration, which allows you to change the color scheme for the keyboard.

For pricing, it is priced accordingly. The HP Omen 16 144Hz( with 6GB RTX 3060 GPU) costs Rs1,39,999(~$1,857). For the Omen 16 165Hz(with 8GB RTX 3070 GPU) costs Rs1,74,999(~$2,321). Both laptops are available from HP online and offline retailers across the country.
