IPL 2021: RCB opener Devdutt Padikkal on Indian jersey: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), opening batsman Devdutt Padikkal recalled when he played for India. “The Indian jersey was given to us by the doctor in our quarantine room. It was my only possession for 4-5 hours. I was taking pictures and emailing them to my family and friends. It was an inspiring moment for me. In the video, Padikkal stated.

He was a young player who played for India in his youth and became the first Indian player to be called up after 2000. Star player also spoke out about an incident in his childhood when he refused to wear the dummy cap of India that his parents bought from the shop.

“I can still recall the day my parents bought me an Indian cap at the shops. It was given to me by my parents, but I refused to wear it. It’s not something I will wear until I have the real one.”
