iQoo has joined the Neo line by announcing the release of iQoo Neo 5 SE on December 20 in China. The Vivo subsidiary announced this via its Weibo account. It was followed by a teaser trailer that confirmed the phone’s design and some of its key attributes. iQoo Neo 5 SE is confirmed to come with three cameras on the rear with a primary sensor that is 50 millimeters. iQoo is scheduled to unveil iQoo Neo 5S at the same time.
The teaser that iQoo released has revealed three colors for the Neo 5 SE at launch. The colors are blue gradient, dark blue, and white. The video highlights them with an aperture located centrally towards the camera’s front. The device’s bottom includes the audio grille, a USB Type C port, a SIM card slot, and the audio mic. Notably, the device appears to be lacking a 3.5-millimeter audio connector.
IQoo Neo 5 SE
As previously mentioned, Neo 5 SE is now confirmed to come with an image resolution of up to 50 megapixels back, including LED flash. The most noticeable feature is the power button located on the side, which is believed to be protected by fingerprint sensors. The reports suggest iQoo 5 SE featuring the MediaTek Dimensity1200 processor and a fast-charging capability of up to 66W.
A couple of weeks ago, iQoo confirmed that it would be launching iQoo Neo 5S starting on December 20 in China. IQoo Neo 5S will be powered by Snapdragon 888 processor. It will also come with a different chip, named Display Chip Pro. Additional chipset is expected to reduce the load on the GPU. IQoo Neo 5S is also anticipated with an improved cooling mechanism that covers 90 percent of its body. Three Cameras on the rear configuration are confirmed to feature OIS mechanical image stabilization.
