The update is based on Android 12 and has the number 12/21/27. It also has all the most recent information regarding the most recent release of the Xiaomi software layer, including optimized performance, better security, and brand-new iOS-inspired widgets.
Another significant change made to MIUI 13 is the availability of other devices. Xiaomi developed its MIUI 13 Pad specifically made for tablets, even though it has only a few models. It was designed specifically to work on screens with large resolutions.

In a blog post published on the Mi Community, Xiaomi detailed the MIUI 13 update roadmap outlining the features available. Redmi and Mi smartphones and tablets are compatible with the latest version. According to the timeline, the first series of MUI 13 will go live on the China Closed Beta branch on December 29, and Public Beta will be released in the coming days. Meanwhile, the stable rollout is set to begin in Q1 2022.
